stock end links vs. prothane end links

i've got the H&R rear sway bar. came with new bushings for the bar, but retained the stock end links. i know the eibach rear bar comes with both new bushings AND new end links.

what is the real benefit of having urethane end links, as opposed to keeping the stock ones? will i really see that big of a difference? new edge has prothane ones for $26.95, so i'm thinking about picking those up, but want to know if i'll actually benefit from it or not.

anyone have any input?

i have eibachs, so does focaltech, so do many others... but theres movement through them, and the swaybars take up most of the sway, the stiffer bushings for them make the biggest difference. for 26 bucks, i say go for it.

they do make a difference, with the rubber in each side can flex inside the rubber another 1/2" or more which means that much more air under the outside side. Not to mention the new bolts are like 3/8" as opposed to 1/4". Never skimp on suspension stuff imo. If you have the money/skillz/patience you should get the whole urethane kit, it makes a huge difference. go outside and kick your rear wheel and see how much it moves. it's scary. lots of rubber in there.

ok, yeah, for 26 bucks, sounds like a plan.

gotta agree with the squatch guy... never skimp on suspension stuff. i'm a big handling freak, so anything to make my ride stiffer, or turn tighter, i'm all over it.

thanks for the opinions.

just thought i'd bump this, since i just put the prothane ones on this morning and took it for a spin.

bit different than the stock end links. the h&r rear sway bar came with new bushings, but maintained the stock end links (rubber). now with the new prothane ones in, you can definitely feel the full benefit of the bar being in there. feels nice and tight now. love it.
