Head Unit Spacer/Holder
If anyone can tell me where I can buy this I would greatly appreciate it. I have been told it is a Sony brand. I am not looking for the radio, just the thing that is holding the radio.

I can't see the picture, but if it's the Sony XPlode trim ring, get ready to pay out of the wazoo.

No, its because PB is blocked at work.

After much research, this is not a Sony XPlode, but a Sony MDX-C5970, or a close variant.
(Minidisk!) Although in the posters picture the "MiniDisk" logo is on the left and not the right as the link I've provided. {edit} I think this is a Euro kit (I don't know if the fitting is the same). As in a facia and a standard kit. http://www.nexxia.co.uk/Car_Stereo_f...ford/focus.htm |
Bringing the thread back to life. Anyone know where I can find this "stereo holder"?

Thanks for the help. Gil |
I'm not sure what you mean by the bottom part... The fascia is all there is to it, you'll have to secure it by gluing or screwing it in the HVAC bezel. Then mount the metal sleeve for the head unit in the hole.
|
^What he said. Your head unit comes with its own metal mounting sleeve[cage]. Simply install it into the remaining gap of the radio opening, and push in the tabs to secure it into your dash.
