Gran Turismo 4 Pictures

Does anybody ever take Gran Turismo pictures?

Here are a few that are focused.. on the Focus. I have over 500 pictures taken, though. Geez, I need to get out and drive my car more.

New York with the ST170 and the RS.

And in Japan on a snowy road...

Well, that feature alone convinced me to buy the game. You just earned SCEA fifty bucks of my money. How did you get the pics to the PC?

It has the option to save to a USB Flash drive, and I have one of those. The detail on the wheels is awesome in photo mode, but it deteriates a little when you actually drive. However, the cars are still rendered at the same quality.

Best reason to buy Gran Turismo 4 would have to be to get out that ST170 or RS and run that baby around the Nurburgring.

Sweet, we have one of those around the house somewhere. I could use that. I might just rent it solely to take some awesome Focus pics. Can you use any car in photo mode without unlocking it in Career Mode? Also, that New York picture... is that a fully 3D skyline? :O

As far as I know, any car from Gran Turismo 4 can be photographed. And the sky is just a high-res picture that is panned to fit the entire scene (you cannot do a 360 pan around for shots in some locations).

To get the Focus ST170, you will have to get 40,000 credits approximately, but if you own Gran Turismo 3 and use the same memory card for Gran Turismo 4, then you will be given the option to transfer Licenses A and B and receive 100,000 credits (one of the first options when you start the game). The only warning I can give you on Gran Turismo 4 is to be sure to turn off the Autosave feature because I've read about it having problems - will literally corrupt the GT4 data.
