I take pictures... *updated Aug 3rd*

I started sharing them on several different sites. Thought I'd share them here as well. I've been getting more and more exposure lately, and have actually recently sold my first set of prints. I also do custom/personal photoshoots for local people.

Well anyways, here are a few of my latest stuff. Leave me your thoughts!

From Las Vegas:

Some recent macro work:

My goodness those are amazing!!! Ughh... I am sooo jealous! I need to learn how to use my sister's good Minolta that she's lending to me. I can't figure it out... lol

But anyways, those are awesome. Beautiful compositions!!! Good for you!

Haha... the thread title makes it sound like you were talking in "caveman speak" or something - "me take pictures of car, you look."

Those are quite nice. I see an EF-mount lens obviously, so what kind of setup are you using?

Thanks everyone. My primary camera is a Canon 300D. With a bag full of lenses, filters, flash units, tripods, monopods, etc etc etc. I think I've spent more on camera equipment than on my car. :D

You're kidding me. You took those pictures with a Digital Rebel? Maybe it's because they've been downsized so much, but they look like what you get from something much higher up in the digital EOS lineup. Are you using L lenses? Prime? Zoom?

BTW do you know about the firmware hack for the camera?

All zoom lenses. No L glass... I think that's a little much for me at this point. I am currently using the hacked firmware though. :)

Cool. Yeah they definitely look nice, especially given that they are coming from a Rebel and not, say, a 20D; I wish I could afford L lenses myself. Too bad most of them cost as much as a used car. I've got a Digital Rebel as well, but only two lenses right now, the kit 18-55 lens which is adequate but barely, and a mint used Mk. I 28-105 f3.5-4.5 USM which I have enjoyed so far (I love the ring USM, what a difference that makes). I discovered the firmware hack only recently, I guess I've been living under a rock since I've had the camera for a long time and yet I seem to be the only one who doesn't know about it. I could have used some of those features REALLY bad too, like the FEC and mirror lock-up, when I was shooting in a dark museum not long ago. Oh well.

My problem is I have a bunch of different film/digital cameras and not enough ambition to get out there and take photographs.
