Pro-Photography Pricing Question

So I'm at a loss for what I need to be pricing my images at.

I'm not talking about a private photo-shoot with your average Joe, I'm talking about licensing photos to Big companies i.e. Monster Energy, Best Buy ect.

I know I need to license per instance used and the price is different from exclusive versus non exclusive, and what they will be doing with it like print, web, advertisement ect.

Blah.. I gotta come up with a proposal, but I have no clue what to put for pricing.

Help?

That's not a bad pricing structure ... but you have to also consider if the clients (For Corporations) will be wanting you to sign over the rights to your photos.

For instance, I shoot for Oil and Gas companies and I am NOT allowed to post any of the photos I take for them.

So, we charge them 2x the premium to cover for our work that they can do whatever with.

Also, need to look into cost of copyright and insurance and have contracts to cover your butt in any legal activities. Having worked with a few Corporations in the past, these are things you should look into.

Good luck.
