Graphic Design

I just graduated high school this year in May, and I plan on going to college to major in graphic design. I know there are a bunch of you on here and I was wondering if there are any tips that I should know. I am fairly new to the whole thing but am fairly good with computers and know photoshop pretty well. I just spent my graduation money on the Adobe master collection and a macbook pro. With all that I think I should be good???

Please feel free to leave comments or anything else. And also, how the hell do you use Adobe Flash? lol

CS4? Wow, pricey. Would not have gone with a laptop though...

Have any work to show?

Nah I got CS3. Pretty similar tho. No not much work at all. Like I said I just started and I am trying to get a bases for most of the programs. And I went with a laptop because I will be going to college next year and I don't think a desktop would be a good choice. My Macbook Pro has everything I could need tho.

I took Graphic Design in high school, and will be going to Art Institute of Tampa to get my degree. But in the time I was in the high school classes, 3/4ths of it was Illustrator. I loved Illustrator by the time i was done. However, alot can be done in photoshop, which is what I stick with now.
