in car mounts.

anyone got any ideas on how to make a in car camera mount, or know of an inexpensive one i can purchase, its for a JVC camcorder.

I've seen several guys get a long piece of small diameter PVC tubing and run it underneath the headrests by drilling holes to accommodate the headrest poles.

i did something just like that but with a piece of wood
i think it worked good i painted it black

^^^I used u-bolts around the headrest mounts. (instead of the headrest mounts going through the bar)
IMHO, it's a lot sturdier that way, and won't shake the camera as much.

Here's a few threads with some different designs...
Question for some of you autocrossers.
Camcorder mount?

thats what i wanted to do but freakn Lowes didnt have any the right size. it dosnt shake that much now but im still going to use the u bolts when i find em.
