Talking Finally posting pics from O'ahu trip (from december, 56K not a chance)

Alrighty......so I'd been too lazy to post these up over the last few MONTHS....but hey why not, right? I took enough pictures, lol (I know, I'm a total tourist. whatever lol.)

O'ahu, first time being there of course I'm gonna go picture crazy (like I usually do anyway though) but it was with my old Kodak point n shoot..... which apparently did NOT like Hawaii and decided to crap out on me (works barely now, but hey I got a new camera out of it lol)

I dunno, I probably won't really give an explanation for every photo, as I just don't totally remember or feel like telling about it. LOL ah well, enjoy.

Awesome rental Forester (it's quicker than you think )

At turtle bay resort (we didn't stay there WAY F-ing expensive lol, had a condo instead)

AND this is why I no longer drool over mustangs.... (the whole damn island was like this, lol) I spot four in this picture, all soft tops :B

Uhh... some pretty sweet panoramic mode action (some other place)

Then again, you never see THESE there....

More panoramic action at the lookout

ooh timewarp, lol

Dunno what this place is called (forgot, lol)

One of my favorite pics I took on the trip, again more panoramic action.

the story on this one: apparently we have some relatives that own this place, and rent it out to some people from Utah. Well turns out they were in Utah when we were here, and the people (tenants, I guess) happened to be the people sitting in front of us on both plane rides from Utah to O'ahu. how's that for a coincidence, eh?

yup.....that's me. chillin on the beach

Dude, are those Maui Jims? I have a pair very similar to those.

Love the panoramic shots. Seems you enjoyed visiting Oahu lol.

And yeah, about those Mustangs, tell me about it lol. Rental car companies are getting trickier. I see Mazda 6, Corollas, Priuses, the list goes on.

ah finally.......actually the other main car (and the one I SO HOPED we'd get was the focus, but they had a free 'upgrade' to the forester) was, well, the new foci. they were everywhere. ah well. lol.

and no, they're actually some ray-bans I bought like two years ago at Costco. LOL. and yeah, I did enjoy it lol. it was too short though.

lol I can't resist....it's just so SHINY and RED (I took about 30 pics of different rental foci, lol):

ah and I can't believe I forgot about this.....a GREAT way to end a great vacation

http://www.khnl.com/global/story.asp?S=9583718

our flight was scheduled at 11pm Friday night..... no boarding until 1:30 am.... then the lovely 6 hour flight back, and because of that we missed our connecting flight. YAY another 8 hour wait until we could board a flight from Arizona back to Utah. got home around 9pm our time..... Saturday night. (two hours ahead of the 11pm the night before, for example.)

edit: I forgot to mention how we were stuck in an airport with minimal lighting and electricity for four or more hours, until 1 in the morning, after having showered at the hotel we were staying at temporarily just to get ready for the flight back, in which the power went out.

LOL we actually took showers with a glow stick. interesting experience, I'll tell ya that

then spending almost half a day at an airport just waiting again...

now I know what it feels like to be a pilot (and no, that's not the worst they've been through....those pilots)

Looks like You visited a few of the places I went to as well, Turtle Bay, Hanauma Bay, and that Temple is the Byodo-in Temple at the Valley of the Temples Cemetary. We went to all of those places, and then some. Did You go to PCC? And the BYU Temple?

mm yeah I did go to the PCC....just didn't feel like posting pics of that (c'mon, you'd better go with surprise than to know what to expect there, lol)

and yeah..... the BYU temple... SO out of place. looks like a freaking gov't building or something. and I was like "WTF they have a BYU-Hawaii campus???"

ah that's what it was, the Valley of the Temples.......

AND (I'll probably forget one or two, but still)

Waimea beach, Waikiki beach, Turtle bay, hanauma bay.... hell and some others too (the one by that big house I posted earlier, and also the parking lot of one of the pics I'm posting now, which happens to be right by that house and in front of the beach) and apparently I found out this deserted beach is Bellows Air Station open to the public on certain days and hours

Yup, that's this one....the one I can't think of. near the PCC

These three, as taken with another camera, are just of the Forester being in a forest lol. (but this is at Bellows Air Station, look how empty it is. those people out there, plus me, are the only four on the whole beach. just the family. LOL)
