Photoshop capabilites / CAD?

Hey you photoshop guru's. I have a question. Does Photoshop incorporate geometric abilities like CAD to any degree? I.E. can PS describe an arc? or draw a circle with specific measurements? I am sure it can rotate an object on the X axis, but what about Z (I.E. can you control perspective). Yes! I have a project, but its half 'what would it look like' and half 'how would I build it'. So I want to do some modeling, but also gen cutout templates.
Thanks

not that I know of.........you can try vexel, though not the same...... I know you can create CAD models, and use photoshop to make a "skin" for your object........ just check out this guy's work, just really amazing, especially his Euro RS click on the "Gallery" tab, and scroll down, right now he's got a ton of watches (which are still amazing) and he's got some way realistic models made in CAD software and photoshop......just sayin http://dangeruss.deviantart.com/

just a lil preview, as well....:

Ya! was afraid of that. OK! I will have to use CAD then if I care to proceed. I can import a photo into CAD, but OMG its a lot of work as it has to be 'converted' to 3D. Think I can it with paper and pencil! Maybe!
Thanks

Well, You up for a project then? I can show you where I am trying to go with paper and pencil, but my skills are limited.

Cool.
Let me give you some background as to where I am going with this. As your probably aware, people see 'faces' in cars. And most people prefer 'angry' or 'aggressive' faces when judging a cars overall looks. Now its pretty well know that Ford wanted to 'mature' the Focus starting in 05. Hence they removed much of the aggressive qualities from earlier models. My wife runs a ladies website, where much of the discussion is shape of faces, color, kibb type etc. Anyway, I enlisted her help to assess the ‘face’ of our 07 Focus. To my surprise, she named a few things that I never realized. One, it has a schizophrenic tendency. This can be observed if you hold a piece of paper at the bumper line on a bone stock Focus, covering the top portion of the car (grill and headlights). The lower portion of the car is a definite frown. Now flip the paper and observe just the grill and headlamps. A smile is suggested. So together, you have a conflict. The headlamps as ‘eyes’ are also weak and devoid of expression. These items (grill and headlamp) can be addressed fairly easily in real terms IF I have a good idea of what the finished product is supposed to look like.
In the pencil drawing, I have removed the stock grill and replaced it with vertical bars. This idea came from studying some of the more famous ‘classic’ cars from the 50’s and 60’s. People tend to interpret vertical bars or slats as teeth.
The headlamps (the eyes) on the Focus have (as mentioned) no personality whatsoever. This can be fixed by the addition of ‘pupils’ and an ‘iris’. A sort of reverse faux HID if you will.
Problem with my supplied pic:
I suspect that the picture (below) has been stretched horizontally. Only because as I look at my focus, my brain is telling me its not correct (This is why I asked about CAD functions). But it’s hard to transfer a pencil doodle to a 3D model in my imagination. Also, the angle of the shot is critical I think(?). So after I have screwed with this for a good long while, I still don’t know what it would really look like.

Goal: Create several views of the 05-07 focus with the grill and headlight design elements.

The grill is taken from a Cadillac grill I found on google images. The headlights are purely pencil sketches. My sketch is defective is several ways. 1: The Focus grill is curved vertically and the bars are not. 2: As I said, I think my ‘master’ drawing which these sketches source from got stretched horizontally. Even though comparisons (using overlays) does not really show it (but the angle is so very hard to find a match for so comparisons are not really accurate). So I strongly suggest you do NOT use any portion of my pencil sketch as purely 'copy /paste.

Here then is the sketch. See what you can do. If the look is good enough, then I intend to purchase the parts and start the conversion. Thanks!
Oh! The front lip is an unintentional doodle. But technically, its supposed to be 4" top to bottom.
Edit: Color Info: The grill surround is chrome. The grill itself should be a neutral (silver, black). The headlamp Iris is prob best black (maximum contrast) as well as the pupils. The main headlamp 'pupil' is achieved by simply painting the Halogen cover black, the turn signal lamp can be simply painting the top half of the bulb black, or involve a physical shield that sits in front of the bulb (this also presents opportunity's for some lighting effects). This is as I imagined it, plz use your creative side if you see something better.

The thumbnail? That's not CAD, that's a pencil doodle of a scan :)
