Tutorial #7: Clear Lights

Man, it's been several years since the altezza style taillights first came out. nowadays, you can find them everywhere even out SUVS. The new trend is to keep the stock tails or near OEM aftermarket clear-relflector tails.

First, you must select the lights that you want to transform. Use the Polygonal Lasso Tool (L) for best results. Note: if your Polygonal Lasso isn't visible, use SHIFT +L to access it.

With the lights selected, head to IMAGE > ADJUSTMENTS > CHANNEL MIXER. In the resulting dialog box, there will be a checkbox at the bottom of the window marked, "Monochrome". Make sure there's a check mark in the box, and click OK.

Hit CTRL + D to deselect. You're done!
