Sedan, both look good but the added space can be good!

I got the 2010 SES sedan. I think the coupe looks too much like a scion and looks too long. 2010 has the trim the older coupe came with though which is why i prefer the 2010 sedan ses, gunmetal grill, no chrome side vents etc.

2010 SES Coupe. Tall enough that in a sedan, I look at the B pillar instead of traffic out that side. Cramped getting in and out. Back seat holds 14 & 15 yr old grandkids (67 year old sister managed for a month too) just fine as the pass. seat is easy to work. Coupes front seat belts are easy to reach....just try a different way. Daughter has '10 SES Sedan...I have 3 HP more....wooo wooo. Coupe looks better, period.

You described the exact problem I had when looking for a new car. There are dozens of choices if you want a cheap or economical or sporty small sedan. Since my height means every sedan puts the B-pillar directly to the left of my head, the number of available cars became much smaller. Honda Civic Coupe and Kia Forte Koup are economical and priced right, but the lower seat cushions don't provide enough support for tall people.

The Focus was my 3rd choice, but I'm glad I bought another one.
