No problems at all. I added a bunch of bolt ons and not so much as a cel in 95k miles. Great little car w/ a peppy 2.3l. I highly recomend a 2003-2004 2.3l hatch!

my wife has the yaris 3dr hatch, its a geat car

with the baby on the way i might just sell the foci and keep the yaris so that way she can get 4 door(toyota corolla)

Add fuel pump to my list.

Just changed it this past weekend and it's a happy little boosted puppy now.

good till the end

my 2003 focus that i had before had no problem.. it was 4 years old and had 130,000 miles on it and worked good i believe because it was made in mexico and i took real good care of it until some idiot hit me on the freeway and totaled it. Now i have a 2005 focus and it works great.

I am so smart. I am so smart.. s-m-r-t. i mean s-m-a-r-t.

my 2000 zx3 was a soldier. never had a problem with it. and i drove it like a madman daily. my 03 svt has been a great car too. ive replaced the clutch, pp, tb, and slave but thats pretty common with stock svt clutch/fw setups. they never seem to last too long. mine lasted 80,000 so thats better than most.

Leaking clutch master cylinder above pedal, broken front springs - replaced free of charge, anti-roll bar drop links replaced, valve cover gasket leak, leaking water pump where it mounts onto the block, release bearing chatter all the time - WTF!, sticking drivers outer door handle, stiff release of doors, interior lights don't come on when it's a cold temperature, burnt out headlight bulb connector - passenger side, hood difficult to close first timerattles from interior trim around rear side 1/4 glass. I think that's it for now!

For me, front brakes wore out in no time. For the previous owner, the skinny tires apparently couldn't handle the speed which resulted in a defective fender and bumper.
