mySVT Well, I'm leaving for Sebring tomorrow morning! I plan on driving to somewhere around Ocala tomorrow, then on to Sebring on Friday. I can't believe no one else is going, it's going to be a blast!

mySVT Forgot to mention these events have always been opened to any Ford-powered or Ford-family vehicles, but Gene said make and model doesn't matter, so whatever you drive bring it out! Last year there were Miatas, Minis, Jags (S-type), an old Volvo with a mustang V8, a 300ZX, a highly modified Olds Quad 4?, and probably the coolest, a Noble GT with a Ford V6 turbo!

SVTOA - On Track @ Sebring Apr 21-23

Is anyone planning on going to the SVT On-track Event in Sebring FL? When I signged up Friday, Gene said that there were 'a couple' of more spots left, so if you want to go, sign up now! I went last year too and I live 10+ hours away and it was well worth the trip. I went to 3 events last year and they are top-notch, lots of fun and you really learn a lot. They have run groups for different experience levels, so if you never done it before, don't worry. This is the perfect way to learn (in-car instructors for beginners), gain expericence, find out what your car's limits really are, and maybe even find top speed without breaking the law! Last year, to save my brakes, I took it easy on the long straight and only got to 110-115. I also did not have my tune when I did Sebring last year, so I am hoping to see at least 130 on the straight this year.

There also pictures from the events in Texas and Nashville.
Last year there were about 5 or 6 Foci there, and this year I know there will be at least 2.
If you go and you are looking for a room, I couldn't find one in Sebring (at least not for Friday night), so look in Avon Park or Lake Placid.
