|WSkobra||When I drove out to California and back I got 42mpg. I thought it was impossible so I had called my mom to do the math to verify it since she is an accountant and she is good with numbers she did verify I got 42mpg even on a misfire on the number one cylinder. Modifications to the car at the time was just a cold air intake and straight pipe exhaust, oh and it was an automatic at the time. It no longer is an auto, I had converted over to manual 6months ago and I love it!!!! Just tonight I raced a Honda hatchback with a B16 motor swap and got him by a car length, my current modifications is the intake, straight pipe and cfm throttle body. My car is also gutted right now. That interior really holds the car back.|

|homeslice287||I used to get 31-32 MPG in my 05 focus SES 2.0 with CAI and Magnaflow exhaust. city was around the same. I never drove faster than 70 MPH and used cruise control everywhere so that may have helped. it was also the 5spd|

Last 3 tanks of mixed rural and freeway, average 33.2.
Still catching up on deferred maintenace from the previous owner. Need to do rear bushings to rid myself of the shopping cart-like auto steering.

85mph (non us roads) = 31 mpg
67mph = 36.5 mpg
63mph 38.7 mpg

Today with 220,000miles driving on the freeway at 65-70 MPH I get 31-33 MPG. If I haul, goes to 27 MPG.
The best I got (AC on) was 34 MPG in 2009.
