I'd sure hope a Zetec with $4000 in modifications would be better than a stock Duratec.

I believe Randy’s Duratec is doing about 382 HP & Jon Kuoyama’s Zetec is doing 474 HP.

SkaAddict Tom (Focus-Power) had a NASA-spec race Zetec-powered ZX3 that was beating a bunch of V8 powered cars at Mid-Ohio last year...it made something in the range of 500 WHP.

But I'm sure that's different because its contrary to your argument.

Seriously though, a Zetec with $4,000 in mods > Duratec.

opus1 I have yet to see a boosted Dura’s HP output match a boosted Zetec’s output.
e.g.: Turbo magazine 4/07 Zetec 472 HP. Care to rebut?

TimHickey but a boosted dura will rape you lol

WhiteZX3Abilene 4 Grand?? Omg you can do soo much with that and piss on duratecs (though i wish i had one..) my little zetec has weapon R intake and rear seats removed and ive beat plently of 2.0 duratecs. If you boost your zetec im sure you wont have to worry about the majority (i repeat the majority) of the duratecs on the road.
