|Alex Arce||what rpm where you launching at? also it helps to know your powerband where you start to lose power. i used to think i would do better by running my gears to just before redline to shift but i started to shift a lot earlier and it performs better. example i have the xcal 2 so my redline is around 7200 now but i shift around 6200 because i notice it reacts better there.|

|_RED_||Get this When I used to get 2.3 60' foots I was running mid 16's now I cant get any better then a 2.4 60' I think it may be my tires, I know if I didnt have the back seats in or the spare I would of hit a 15.9xxx I was just under a 1/4 tank of gas also.|

Improve on your 60ft time and you will run a high 15.
This can be done through better tires, adjusting tire pressure for better traction, or just a better launch.. play around with rpms and clutch slip... That would be my suggestion for 15s with no further power parts... work on traction and get a 2.3 or better 60ft (not sure what Focus's can usually pull off anyways and never raced mine). You could also pull some weight out of your car (spare, jack, any junk in trunk), run it with a 1/4 or 1/8th tank (if not already done). I run my Mustang at around a 1/4 or just less.
Either way nice run!

MPH doesn't matter. I think i hit like 85 or so and i was around a 16.5. I had a buddy that changed his rear end from a 2.83 to a 3.83 and ran a 14.9. he used to be a at 15.1. He had a slower top end after he changed out the rear end compared to his 3.83. I wish i new the speeds, but i don't.
Before he changed his rear-end, i could hang with him from a stop and he'd gradually pull away on the high end. Now after he swapped them out, he pulls like a bat out of hell. but i would catch him after he hit 80mph.
Not too shabby though good job

for the track people
Ok, I just got back from the track last night (Drags)
Here is the time
I was under the impression that the MPH should have me running in the 15's any ideas what I can do to bring my times down.
