HalfTime Read my how to on drag racing. Don't lower your tire pressure too much on street tires, they will buckle the tread, and the contact patch will be smaller. Run about 5psi less then vehical recomended psi in the front, and run max TIRE psi in the rear.

yeah conditions will be different, but i think you'd see a larger improvement that way
supposed to take about 50 miles before the ECU has fully relearned. If you drive a lot, it wont take a few weeks, maybe a few days.

bryanjw82 im getting a custom tune from tom, i should have it tuned with it before wed. Do you think it will run better than the diablo tune?

2004SVTAutoXer tunes will show an immediate difference, but they take a couple weeks of driving to really learn in. your best bet would be to do a couple runs sans tune, then tune your car and test it again 10-14 days later.

yeah conditions will be different, but i think you'd see a larger improvement that way

SVT_BMXer you ought to run a few runs un-tuned and a few with the tune.

Alex Arce im still waiting for my car to be done... its been out of commission for a few weeks now... but yeah my best run with a bad clutch was a 15.2 i had header, intake, UDp and cam adjustment. ive done a lot to it since so i cant wait to see what i can do now.... how was your launch?

bryanjw82 wow i must of done real bad, no one has replied, ill make it up wed. like i said, i had like 30psi in my front tires and a bad clutch
