BCESVT1 12 second passes are going to be 105+MPH on a front wheel drive car. The only way you're going to run a 12 with a trap under 105 is with a low 60', and we all know that front wheel drive and low 60' times do not go together. Even a rear wheel drive car running a 12.9 is going to trap quicker than 102-103MPH.

FocusInAlaska 13.3 sound like a great time. There is always the "possibility" to do better at almost anything a person could do...but you ran a 13.3 in a ficken focus! Congrats! I bet you find a way to get to the 12's.

UtahSVT Do you remember who and what were the races being filmed... there is a guy in my home town in WA who went to race for the show somewhere in the southwest (either AZ or NV) and he LOST! BAAAAAAaaaaaaa!!!!!!!

But I only have 181ft/lbs of torque, that plus the fact that I don't have an intercooler and the IAT's are reaching 220 degrees by the end of 3rd gear and the ECU is pulling timing all the way through 4th. I think that 13.37 is pretty good. Oh and I forgot to put the 60' on the time slip in my first post it was 1.942.
if you had an IC, you would be able to pull a little more torque, and prolly run 12s. You could definitely bring the 60' down some more too, get it to about 1.88 and youd be golden.

But his mph was good for high 12, I just dont think the car could do it without having more torque under its belt.
