Jacen02SE They were both 1992 (second generation, but no spoiler) MTXs. One was red with a green hood, fender, bumper, and trunk. The second one was oxford white and was supercharged before I got it. I wanted nothing to do with the supercharger because those engines are finnicky enough. Turns out I had to put an insane amount of work into that car: underbody had to be repainted, a/b pillars and mirrors had to be repainted, needed new plugs and wires, a starter, an alternator, oh, and a full exhaust. The exhaust on the car was, from the y-pipe back, ALL flex pipe. That lasted about a month.

RedOctober1984 I'm 17 and I was looking for a car. Last year, (a year ago Jan 23rd), I rolled a 2004 Focus Sedan. I loved that thing and I loved rally racing and other motorsports....So when I saw that there was an SVT for sale locally I had no choice.

Hot Hatches ftw.

MarsSVTF Im 40 years old and just got mine a few weeks ago. I had always known about this car since it was new and always wanted one. Then one day i saw a "2002 red focus" for sale and decided i had to take a look, i was only a few miles from me, when i got there i saw it was an SVT, the dude had no idea what he had, He thought it was just some old focus with a few dings and scratches, needed a little TLC. I paid $1300 for it and the rest is history! Love this car!!! 93K on the clock!

mbradican I'm 50 years old. I bought my 2003 SVTF when I was 43 and I've had fun with it. It's a good solid car and a lot of fun to drive. I also have a 1995 BMW 318ti and a 2001 BMW z-3 3.0. If I had to go to only one car it would definitely be the SVT. Because it is the most reliable of the three, my wife drives it most of the time. But when I get back behind the wheel I always get a smile on my face. I guess I've put about 80K miles on it so far and I've replaced some of the parts that commonly fail on these cars, but overall I would say it's a very economical car to own and fix.

lmfao...same thing here. Now we have 7. You oughta look into getting a low mileage 2.3 Focus just for fun too. They've got some zing! Just bought a ZTS couple monthes ago garaged with 86k on it.

Mightymango I'm going to run my SVT and FiST in HS next year. The following year I will switch it to STF and see if I can make some magic like Preston and Justin did in the ZX3 this last year.
