It is a safe assumption that the TruPart (RHD - HL1152 and HL1153) have fixed reflectors; so beam shape is not adjustable without dis-assembly, modification and testing = No thanks, I will pass.
An interesting bit of info I ran into is;
"My old 2004 Focus Ghia had halogen lamps and it was easy to move them into the travelling position (right hand drive British car with lights adjusted for driving on right) with just a flick of a plastic lever on the back of each headlight box."

So on some euro cars with OEM headlights (likely shaped just like the ST170 and TruPart HL1152) there is a mechanical switch that helped reshape the beam from RHD to LHD.
One thing I did not find is a story from someone who experienced this problem-> someone in the USA modifying their MK1 Focus to use Euro lights that were shaped for RHD. I am sure there are some people here who have ran into this problem, but I did not stumble into any of these stories yet.
Sad, but I might just do the regular Depo lights ($100 for the set). But the little red devil on my right shoulder says "Get the Depo HIDS and the D2S: MORIMOTO ELITE HID SYSTEM and do the job right, trust me, you will be happy". About $450.

Yeah, beam shape is opposite for the RHD versions.
Ours are lowest to the left looking forward, tailing upwards to the right - my std. one actually has a split beam on the left with a dimmer segment near level & a brighter one pointing lower - normal pattern on the right light.

I could be off base here, but I believe the difference is how they are aimed. The drivers side is always a bit lower and inward(depending on RHD or LHD) from the factory. This is so that you are not blinding the guy driving toward you on a 2 lane highway. So if that's correct they would just have to be adjusted after you install them.
Like I said, could be way off here but that's my 2cents.

Marde i have been researching headlights lately and dont want to burst ya bubble but i think the tru-part ones are for right hand drive only ,i was wanting the black ones and found 3 suppliers but couldn`t justify the $ 300 plus the vw pigtails n stuff at the moment ,
look up " ST170 headlights" or "Euro Car Parts" in uk or "Europeancarparts" in Germany ,if you see ones by Ace car parts (uk) they are R/H drive too good hunting

The market and offerings for LED, Halo, HID stuff is very full; the OEM look-a-likes are very few; and the Euro ST170 OEM's or look-a-likes are hard/impossible to find in the USA. -uh, so I thought...
Found some new and used ST170 headlights in Europe on ebay.
Brand = Trupart
New = 45 + 25 shipping each side (British Pounds) = about $110 USD delivered (VAT/tax unknown) = $220 for both + mod parts + bulbs.
NEWS FLASH: Found em at RockAuto.
TRUPART Part # HL1152 and HL1153
About $65 each. Tax and Shipping TBD.
Will I do it? Maybe. I have a few questions/concerns and will post in a new thread. Left side (in pic below) of each seems to have a physical (mounting point/trim) difference & overall clearances in rear of the ST170 might be a problem in my car.
Also, I stumbled into a How-To for this mod;
Geez, now I gotta go price-out the (no-turn-signals) euro grill too.
