The headers on my Bronco get good and cherry red after a hard run.
I've never looked that closely at my SVTF though.

Is this the first time he's ever noticed it...after the cam gear install?

I have my heat shield off and have had no problems. That is not normal

MaximusZTS ^^ So... no more glow?

ztecpower OK, Update !! Well by the time we got the car back together and the timing is RIGHT ON ! The header still glows !! But we found the VCT solinoid is Faulty..... Which according to the scan tool is sticking at -6.0 deg intake timing (CAUSING A LEAN CONDITION) Thus making th header glow. So we will be replacing the VCT Solinoid along with the IAC Valve (sticks at 3000 rpms after warm-up)

SVTmonkey Smart of you guys not to drive it anywhere, if it was glowing at idle, you probably would have blown something after 2 minutes of driving.
