shlbygt Here is some more information on the SVTOA Buttonwillow event from the SVTOA marketing folks.

Get ready for three days of non-stop action as the SVTOA Western Region invades Buttonwillow, CA for another On Track Performance Driving Clinic! This event will feature nationally sanctioned driving instructors, loads of vendors showing off their products, the SVT Trailer with several great SVT vehicles, and even a Ford GT available for charity rides!

SVTOA On Track events are performance driving clinics designed to help you develop your skills as a driver, both on the track and on the street. And it's not all about speed. Precision, smoothness, vehicle balance, and awareness are key elements in improving your skills as a driver. Men and women...young and old... all can improve their skills behind the wheel... and have a GREAT time doing it! Both rookies and seasoned racing drivers alike will learn and enjoy themselves at the SVTOA On Track events. A full staff of seasoned and professional instructors provides in-car, one-on-one instruction so drivers can take full advantage of having 'open-track' time to practice and refine what they learned in SVTOA's driver training sessions. As always...visitors are welcome*!

Ford Racing and SVTOA are pleased to present a driving seminar by Dr. Jacques Dallaire, founder of Human Performance International. This exciting seminar is being sponsored by Pride/Ford Autobody, which means that all members and their guests can attend at no cost! Dr. Jacques has trained many top professional drivers - Patrick Carpentier, Michigan 500 Winner and Ward Burton, Daytona 500 Winner to name just a few! Join us for a special 2-hour seminar that is ONLY available to 2005 participants and their guests! Dr. Jacques will help you to sharpen your mental skills, improve your concentration and keep your cool when the heat is on at the track! For more information view a short movie about HPI and the SVTOA seminar or visit for more information on this exciting program.

Friday will be an Open Test and Tune day at the track on the West Loop. SVTOA will not provide driving instruction on Friday, so this day is open to experienced drivers only. Saturday and Sunday will include instruction/class room sessions and LOTS of track time! If you are a member or a local SVTOA chapter or Ford club, it's time to start making plans for chapter cruises to the event!

All the driving and training not enough? The SVTOA Western Region will hold a meet 'n' greet at the Willow Ranch Restaurant in the town of Buttonwillow on Friday evening as well as a catered BBQ dinner at the Willow Inn & Suites on Saturday night**!

Still not enough?? Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords and the SVT Enthusiast will be in attendance. This year, we can also expect to see The Stable Productions, a Los Angeles based production company that will be filming the event for a promotional DVD and Web video. It doesn't get any more exciting than this, so come out and be a part of the action!

SVTOA On Track @ Buttonwillow November 4-5-6

Here is the information on the SVTOA event coming up the first weekend in November. Last year we had ~ 8 to 10 SVTF in attendance. Ford brought out the Silver/Orange V6 prototype for display.
An SVTF is a sweet ride pulling through the esses into the Sunset turn. For that matter from Riverside to Sunset is a great series of corners for the Focus.
