..:: sleestak ::.. Sweet, I saw your name in the numbers list...so dat who you be!!

I am going to register in DSP and let them bump me to where ever they see fit. I honestly am not going into this with the intent to win, just to break my cherry.

I have met Dan at a car show a few months ago, I will be sure to give him a shout on the Jet....but I am already on the reading tip...got the rules and a bunch of posts and articles in front of me. Now I just need to get some numbers lined up. ;)

Siped Avons go on this week along with Copper Motorcraft Plugs, FR Wires and grounding wires.

NO CONE IS SAFE FROM MY WRATH, ITS PAC MAN TIME!!! lol

I first thought that i would be in STS, but am I in DSP?!
Jason it's the winter series there so people really don't pay too much attention to what mods you have provided that you aren't killing evryone in your class. If you haven't done so already you should try & link up with Scott or Dan from the fj 5280 group. Both great guys and auto-x gurus. Looks like it's DSP for me lol! I'll be back to running events soon enough. Once you get those siped tires we should hit up an ice race this year. What a blast those are. But for you being new to this then it would be better to run a few events in GSN to get a feel for it. Also RMSolo.org has drivers instruction events from time to time and I hear they are the way to go to improve how you race.

Edit: The 16th is the last summer series event.

My first event in they Rocky Mountain region and they threw a picture of me in Cone Clips, the regional newsletter.

Carrera26 They'll probably put you in G Stock Novice for a while though, as you're new.

from my reading of the rules, a high-flow cat would be allowable in STS, as long as it "meets or exceeds DOT standards". So it looks like the R/T cat is good to go in STS.

Good luck with the Bimmers
As long as they stay out of my way all is well

Egz Shoot, didn't see the TB listed. Yea, that kicks you to DSP if you ditch the ORP. No STS for you.

Viking Yeah, you can only modify the intake up to the throttle body, not including it. You must also have a cat at least near the stock position.

LastRites I was thinking the T/B was the sticking point last year. Kicked me to DSP. I just really want to keep things legit and being that I'll be running winter series for the first few months noone really cares. I remember how pissed I was back in the old days when this guy was running HS in a Focus who edged me out a bit but come to find out he had some illegal stuff on his car. I'll get in touch with my regional gurus and find out what's up but thank you all for the input!
