Carrera26 Is it the Turbo?

I LOVE the 2002, especially in race trim. For some reason they have always looked like some of the coolest small racers to me.

WD40 That must be one hell of a BMW 2002...
Affirmative.
That is one bad a*s wicked fast ride, with an equally impressive driver!

WD40 Hey!
The results are in!
I got a copy last night at the meeting.
I have no idea why they haven't been posted yet, so I did it myself.
Albeit, they're not "official".

Looks like you ended up 36th out of 63 Overall, and 7th out of 14 in Class.
^^^Nice job^^^
You sure beat a few folks that used to be ahead of you.

Yours truly finished 18th Overall, and 2nd out of 3 in Class.
Those danged R compounds. Just couldn't quite catch him on my street rubber.

Some day, I'll get my videos up.
I've got it all on the machine, just need to find the time to upload them.
The rain runs on Saturday are awesome!

focusedaddiction ^^???..I was talking 15" ZX3 wheels for racing & 17" svt rims( p. coated black) for running around town. I was tired last night. the 205 50 15 is cheaper & avail. in most brands & models of tires, R comp. or street sorry about the confusion.

Carrera26 Where are you going to get 15" SVT wheels for racing?
09-28-2005 12:28 AM
focusedaddiction more than I thought it would, a hair over an inch. it looks a little lower than stock did with the stock tires 24.2" ( now- have been running 205/50/15's for last 5 mo.s, 23.0") & looks better-hope that made sence , I'm tired! gonna get 17's for the street(to fill the wheel wells more, 215/40/17) this winter sometime for crusin & stick to 15's for racing to save some cash (mabe svt's powder coated black)

WD40 Shoot man.
We coulda done it here in a heartbeat and saved ya some bucks.
Believe me, I've got the tools...and then some.

Glad you're liking the new setup.
How much did it drop your car?

focusedaddiction ^^^ I don't get much time off, but that sounds like a good time. I'm afraid i chickened out & took it to Tire rama ( 224.00 for install & 4 wheel alighnment), I've never done struts & springs
B4!! I 've done all the other modds myself though. winters's modds should be interesting, cams, either fr2's or comp. stg. 2's, TB., ported 2000 Int. man. we'll see, there will be plenty 4 us to do , I just love an excuse to hang out in the garage & turn a few wrenches
Anyway I love how this susp. feels so far, courners much flatter & feels way more responsive to turn in, WOW what a difference !!can't wait to try out on track !!

I take it, you got Monday off.
How's the swap coming along?

Too bad you're not a little closer, or had a day off on the weekend.
