jerryzx3 you are supposed to go when you see the third yellow light light up. Once you get more practice you will have to wait a little longer but when you are new at it go when you see the third light. I will bet you will still have a .6 or so reaction time but it will get better and that is where alot of races are won.

EricR Paul,

Thanks for posting your results even if they aren't earth shattering. Now I've got an itch to try it for myself! My crazy brain is convinced I'll to better.

Look at this:

1st run: 18.4
2nd run: 17.8

You cut well over a half a second on your second run!

I'll have to figure out where to run and then we can start a "Noob 1/4 mile time in my ST" thread!

SD_Focus ^^Umm those lights last quite a while I think I would get myself in trouble going at the 3rd yellow light.

viney266 Hey, that's fine, you will improve. That is what makes it fun! Did you have a good time? That is all that matters. Also, wait for the third yellow light to begin to light, then go...do NOT wait till you see the green light!

Here are my crappy 1/4 times on my '05 focus... It was my first time running, so I am sure I will get better as I figure it all out... :P
