I just don't like how people in the past have won ROTM then just vanish, like Forddesigner, who took votes from other contributers to the site then just took off after winning...

I totally agree with everything you said. We use to have it set at a 100 post minimum to be nominated for ROTM then lowered it to 50. We also use to let people nominate themselves but chopped that idea cause thought it would be better for others to nominate you. Like the one particular ROTM, not mentioning any names, that whined cause he didn't win, won the next month then vanished. That kinda made me mad. All the 12 that have won deserve to win. Just hope people factor in other things besides power/looks.

Oh, also, does everyone want the ROTY to be a multiple vote thing? Do you want to vote for just one or do you want to be able to choose more then one? Please tell me cause this will go up on Friday night.

Exactly, which is why it needs to be kept as simple as possible or people will cry foul.

Chick I'm not talking about post whoring and worthless posts. True I would consider someone would posts helpful info and has won ROTM to be a top contender but when is the last time you saw a few of the ones that have won post? It just seems to me like a lot of them just posted to win then they stopped once they did. Maybe they still lurk but I haven't seen let's say Forddesigner or Scarecrow post in a good while and both of them have very nice Focus's.
