Hey NCSTEVE83,

I'd like to connect you with your regional customer assistance manager, who will be able to determine if financial assistance is available. Please send me a PM with your full name, best daytime phone number, VIN, current mileage, and servicing dealership.

NCSTEVE83 So, I got the new trim piece from Ford....and its rediculously hard to put on. 3 people at the ford dealership couldnt even get the damn thing on. They were just service techs though, they did not have a body shop at that dealer. So at lunch today I am going to a dealer with a body shop, and hopefully they can get it put on for me. Its been such a frustrating problem, but hopefully it will be fixed in an hour when I am on my lunch break.

Seminoles What about filling it with body filler then use the over lays from amazon.

Seminoles Don't feel bad it's been that way for decades that's why all these restore shows say remove trim very carefully. Good luck you might always catch a break.

These overlay type trim pieces are attached with double sided tape. The piece that I have missing is attached with those 4 clips in the picture, and there is no way around buying an OEM part from Ford to replace it. They really know how to take any option away and make a guy pay $75 for a 16 inch long piece of trim.....but I have no choice.

Check on eBay, you may be able to get the cheap M3 + Chrome... not the same quality and may require some adjustement but will be under $20...

It is under Body -> Quarter panel.

Village Ford on the forum could give you a better price if you post there.

Edit: Added a crappy pic of it
