Agreed... Our mornings have been -10+ and mine didn't have any issues till the boss backed into it the other day. I'm thinking you hit a chunk of ice on the freeway that somebody else dropped.

I highly doubt the cold caused this. It's been in the single digits/below zero here lately, with plenty of sleet, ice and snow mixed in, and I have a perfectly intact bumper.

The damage looks more like something impacted it- making it not Ford's problem.

It's pretty evident just by the pictures that there was some form of an impact that caused this. The dealership will take one look at it and tell the OP to contact his insurance company.

OP-from what I can gather by searching the product, it looks like that should work fine to repair the area. You may also want to put a layer down over the cracks that extend underneath the lip to stabilize the area. It has a relatively short working time, so don't mix all of it at once.

goblintacos alright. well let's say they don't do anything. would the above mentioned stuff work to try and fix it?

The warranty doesn't cover self inflicted damage to the vehicle, which a cracked bumper cover would be. Ford is not responsible for this. It's not like it came that way from the dealership or the factory.
