sleepyboy If it's all stock I'd leave it that way. It's a perfect example of what they used to be. I see you have silver with the Recaro's and the hid's, I'm not sure but I think that may be one of the rare ones with that option package.

|Heath_Bar| Welcome to the forum!! That is a nice looking car, inside and out :) Look forward to see your progress.

EDIT: I'll comment on the below post... I have never seen a mk1 with that interior, yet I don't search them 24/7 but I know of the blue and red interior... And this looks great, I agree don't change it!

Hey Everyone! Just wanted to say that this is an awesome forum and I wanted to thank everyone in the How-To thread. I bought my car back in May and immediately installed an aftermarket deck thanks to the Stock sub wiring How-To. I made my harness a little bit different than the one in the tutorial but I was grateful to know which wires i needed to splice into. After that I ordered a new timing belt and got the cam plate and timing pin. I managed to do my own timing belt in a couple hours despite everyone telling me to "leave it to the professionals". It was way easier than I thought it would be. This forum is an invaluable resource to me and I just want to thank everyone for making this forum great!!! Anyway here are a couple pics of my car. It hasn't even hit 20,000 miles yet so Im excited to have such a great base to build on.
