Highball116 We have over 168,000 on our OEM clutch. Might be worth buying.

fawzie13R if you don't want to put an OEM clutch(I agree with CotyM above) you can always go with a HD clutch, its pretty much a OEM clutch with a little better friction compound and a little stiffer pressure plate but as CotyM stated you should just put in a OEM clutch if you have no plans to tune your focus because the price is pretty drastic id say your OEM clutch will probably run you around half as much as a HD clutch.

CotyM Racing clutch wont make you go faster, it'll just hold up to power and more aggression a little better. In all honesty, if you have no plans to upgrade for more power, just get an OEM clutch from ford. If taken care of they last forever. 124k on mine and no slipping yet and I learned to drive stick in this car... I mean... what more can you ask of a clutch?

Clutch Recommendations?

A little backstory: My 2001 Ford Focus was bought for 1,300 dollars. The clutch in the car always squealed. I was told it was a racing clutch and I was going to replace it as soon as I could, but today it went out completely. I'm driving the crap wagon (Taurus) for now until I can do some work on the Focus, but I am not sure what kind of clutch I should buy to put in there. What would you guys recommend?
I'm looking for something more standard than a racing clutch. I don't need the extra motivation to go faster :P
