SVTFocus noob Yupp, Well atleast it's figured out and should not blow this time around!!

sailor Lack-o-tools can getcha - straight edge to check the block right in the car would have helped. Never quite enough on hand.

SVTFocus noob Got back from Machine shop looking at it, there was a low point on the block caused from the first time the gasket failed. So ultimately me not properly torquing my head studs caused this. So it wasn't as simple as get my Cyl head fixed and slap it back on. I should have removed engine and looked at the block more thoroughly and I would have seen this the first time it had blown. Definitely a hard lesson learned, but learned none the less.

Mother Focus I bet your #3 injector is clogged, dirty or stuck.

SVTFocus noob For those of you that didn't know before my engine blew after it was all together. Then had the cyl head rebuilt by Dover Cyl Head. Got it up and running again and during a datalog the head gasket blew again! Here are the pics of results this time not nearly as bad as last time. This time only whistle blow on Cyl 3 and head gasket damage to Cyl 3. I think it might be a low point on the block what do you guys think?
Here's the pics;

SVTFocus noob Hey sorry, if anyone is wondering the Connector is on back side of trans on bell housing right above the P/S axle output of the trans. Once this tuning is done I think this build thread will finally be finished!

SVTFocus noob Hey so when driving I didn't have a speedo but I did have a reverse. So I'm thinking it's speedo. Where about on the trans is that again?

02-15-2016 07:48 AM
SrDudley Did you take any connections off the transmission? See if you have reverse lights...
