Miller88 Does it go away when you hit 60, 65, 70? If it happens only at one speed, that is usually caused by bad belts.

Hi D34TH_v69,

Have you brought her focus in to the dealership so they can take a look? I'm certain they'd be happy to assist you.

Sornaya I had this problem, turned out it was a bad bearing set

fyrblckdragon I have the same issue. On mine, a rebalance fixes it for 800 miles or so, then I get the same vibration from 55-65. It goes away at 65+.

The issue showed up for me at 62k miles.

I thought it might have something to do with the clanking I get at low speeds over bumps (Sway Bar endlinks bad perhaps? Tie rod bushings?)

If you want to test that theory, swap the front wheel(s) to the rear and see if the front vibration changes at that speed. Wheels in the front out of balance will be more noticeable than the rear end. A good 4 wheel alignment and wheel/tire balance would be my solution.
/agreed. Sounds like one or more of the weights came off one of the front wheels. It happens once in a while.

09 focus vibrates around 55 mph

My girlfriend has an 09 focus and lately she has noticed that at around 55 mph the car will vibrate in the front end. It doesn't happen all the time though. I thought it might have been the engine just acting a little rough at that rpm so i turned off overdrive but it still vibrated. I was thinking maybe the tires are a little off balanced or they put the weights in the wrong spot on the wheels, but wouldn't they shake all the time then? Anyone have any ideas what it could be?
