Honesty, I bet you'd yield some BIG gains by doing that. I bet it would be pretty loud too. I'd like to hear what a full 3" exhaust would sound like with a header, so if you do it, you should make a sound/video clip!

Never dynoed car for third time to find out if 3" makes even more power as I didn't care about power was going strictly for sound. Nice and deep tone kinda like Subaru WRX.

Back when I put them in my cart on Amazon the scoop was still $16.99, but they wanted like $14.99 shipping... I see it's come down to $6.99 shipping. That's a little better. I may go ahead and order.

I'm wondering if this one is the same.
I can't tell if the hose connection is angled...
$19.94 shipped with Prime.
Just ordered.
Woot!

Gi_Jo_Nathan I haven't coughed up the money to order the stuff yet.
Couldn't get over how much they wanted for shipping on the scoop.

thatdudereeg Ordered the Outerwears pre-filter this morning. Now the question is; Do I put something on the end of the scoop like mustang0 does or go straight up open scoop? Personally, I'd love to be able to just attach the piece that pops out to the end of the scoop so its a bit more sturdy and attached to the car when I clip that thing back on. Has anyone dabbled into this? With photos?
