tdotfocus12 I really like my 2012 SE. Before buying I test drove the Chevy Cruze and Hyundai Elantra and they didn't even compare to the Focus. Focus has a much nicer ride and much better quality interior materials. The only problem I've had with mine is the interior dome lights not turning on when using the remote to open the car. I'm at 34,000 kms and I feel like the transmission might have gotten a little less smooth at slow speeds but could just be me, reading this forum doesn't help lol. I definitely didn't have any problems from the beginning.

F35-JSF I love mine even though I haven't drove it in nearly a week (the bike whispers to me to ride it instead and it is rather persuasive). I do wish it had some of the updates of the 13's alloy wheels, mirrored turn signals and I wish I would have forked a little more over for a sunroof.

Like it? I love it!!

almost 27k and no major issues. Would I buy another one? Absolutly! Great driving, great handling, great fuel economy, great looks. What's not to love?
In my case, I love it.

Rogerschro In actuality, the majority of Focus owners really do like it. For the unfortunate few who have problems, they get to hear about others with similar issues and believe they are the majority. I would not dismiss their concerns and problems, but it is still true that most are very satisfied. That includes me. Personally, I think it is a great car, best driving and looking car I have owned. I have followed the stories and issues others have had, but I base my impressions of the car on my own experience. This can be said of those who have had negative experiences too, they will reasonably consider it to be whatever they have dealt with no matter what I or others have to say. Make your own decisions on your car, let others make theirs. Smile or move on, it is, after all, just a car.

jmaxwell I absolutely LOVE mine! I have had no problem, but looking to make a few mods soon...I would love to find a front splitter similar to the one Cobb makes but alittle less dramatic If anyone knows of anything like that it would be greatly appreciated!

unfocused1 Mine still does "the noise" and randomly, but there've been no faults, transmission is smooth, and I get great gas mileage...

After having a camera, there's no way I'm ever going back.
I have the Ti with camera and parking assist and I really appreciate the camera. What I also like are the sonic sensors front and rear -- in truth, I think they're even more effective than the camera. I managed to scrape and damage the air dam on most of my previous cars by pulling to far forward in parking spots and hitting the curb or concrete block used to define the spot. With the sensors I'm warned as I get near and as I get closer the tone changes to tell me that's far enough. So far I've not so much as touched my air dam.

I've also used the parking assist about 5 times in the 14 months I've had the car and most of those 5 times was testing it out, so it probably wasn't worth it but I'm still glad I have it.

technoshark The only thing I dislike about my Focus is that I'm racking up the miles (36K+) - and that is my fault. Aside from nagging but minor MFT & DCT stuff, the best vehicle I've ever owned. So thankful my wife liked the Ti better than the SE I was considering. Long-term performance will determine if it remains the best vehicle I've ever owned...

RonMaiden Of course you can get cruise with a 5 speed; works great.

JohnH Stupid Question. Is there a cruise control option on the manual? I don't think that's possible?
