Lol, no worries. I work with the government so half the day I speak in acronyms. I don't even notice it until normal people get that glossed-over look in their eyes...

Anywho, this weekend I finally put the car back on stands to do yet another suspension change. The first one for the FoST, my eleventee'th one on a Mk3. You would think you get used to it and don't fret it, but nope.

I know a lot of people wanted to see the FoST get slammed like the Mk3 (some days I was one of them), but this is my gf's daily when she's in the states so I've really left all of the decision making up to her. I can't even lie-I think she did an awesome job.




I also installed the RA mudflaps, because rallycar.




I think most of those are unedited, minus the Instagram shot in my garage. I learned that it's impossible to catch black in the shadows against a color that practically gives off light.


I have to be honest, all of the latest changes to the FoST have rekindled my love for it. It's ridiculously more powerful than the FiST, which I expected and knew would happen, but I didn't realize just how much everything would wake-up within the platform. I've probably only put 100 miles or so on it with the new springs, but it livened-up the chassis so much more. It's still more numb than the FiST was stock, but it's significantly better.

I know the springs are going to break in and become a little more compliant and give me probably another .25" or so of drop, so I'll probably revisit my opinion later on after some more miles have accumulated. I still have to say that, thanks to a couple of necessary drives while the FoST was on stands, the FiST felt very...meh...by comparison. I'll probably start driving it again once I run this tank of fuel out and then see how I feel after swapping seats through a few more tanks of fuel.

Have no doubt about it though, the FoST is a blast to drive fast. My buddy from work with the stock FoST1 and I happened to link up leaving for lunch on Thursday and may have compared acceleration on the way. He said that the difference felt like I was in a Mustang and he was in a regular Mk3. Obviously that's exaggerated a bit, but there is a pretty substantial difference in acceleration now...

Actually, all of the Ti-HP Mk3's also have the same turning radius. There's a limiter in the steering actuator due to the 235 series tires.
