ems engine mgmt system?
ecu from a 99 ranger tuned with a sct ?or something 500$ obdii device
I put it in my already running conversion and it worked like a charm
my ecu just had the stock chip that goes on ecu that works too
i still have to adjust the high idle 1050 rpms

crank position sensor is possible as the conversion used a totaly diff mounting bracket
supplied by bostig
also the auto used 2 washers for clearance maybee this is off? or bad
any way to test sensor?
and tried the no fuel still nothing
and we have 3 coils 2 new the tester shows spark
although 2 of the four looked fainter

Pull fuel source and crank clear.
If still no start, verify you have spark.
If no spark, verify correct Crank Position Sensor is being used (ATX and MTX have different mounting plates / distance from reluctor wheel changes).

bostig conversion no start
hey now another bostig conversion (zetec into westfalia)
with a no start
ecu is good (tested on my van this morning)
have gas (wont even catch on surestart)
have checked cam timing 3 times
new batt new muffler
new coil wires plugs
just wont catch
seems to be alot of resistance when cranking over compared to mine
get a lot of black sooty smoke out the back
and plugs get black after a few try's
any thing else to try any idea's
