roswelltop I had the injected tune on my '13 5spd SE, with the same two mods you mentioned. I also had the E-Focus RMM, and a short shifter. I was completely happy with the tune, for the very reason you listed--smoothing out the power band, improved response especially at the low end.

I also have an Injected tune on my '14 DCT hatch, and an equally pleased.

Mr_Ruxbin How happy are the people with the 5-speeds with this tuning?
Have an intake and exhaust on my '14 SE, looking for a little tuning to help with low end power and response. Did this make a noticeable difference for anyone else with a 5 speed?

Ox-y-GenIII About the shutters never closing, and I mean ever, with the car off for a whole weekend at near freezing temps the shutters are still open, Aric said he never changed anything that prevents them from opening. But this isn't normal. But no biggie for now, I'll just detune late fall/early winter.

Aric suggested reloaded the tune or another tune to see if that'd help with the harsh shifting, it didn't. Went to the 87 tune and same thing, back to the 91 same thing. It seems to be OK sometimes and too firm sometimes as well. He didn't seem interested in making any adjustments for me or for anyone.

The good, my mpgs have increased slightly, the transmission knows what its doing 95% of the time, and its much quicker regardless of the amount of acceleration.

So with the 4-5 and 5-6 shift firmness aside, the only thing that I consider negative is the 1-2 shift is too short or too quick when accelerating hard but not at full throttle. Like trying to accelerate into traffic or beat the car next to you at a traffic light that merges back into one lane, I'll accelerate and it'll shift into 2 by 4k, but I was still somewhat hard on the accelerator and didn't let go so it should have climbed higher before shifting.

Thanks. I'll do that. Just been too lazy to e-mail before.

roswelltop Ox-y-gen, Injected is closed on Mondays. If you don't get a response from Aric relatively quickly, James@Injected is a good guy and has been very effective in getting Aric's attention.

Ox-y-GenIII So my issue with maybe slipping out of gear on first might have been traction control. I couldn't recreate the slipping with reaction control off, but I did get it to chirp second once and I wasn't at 100% throttle. A little too firm. No email back from Aric yet.

Ox-y-GenIII I'll definitely reply with any updates.

Also, since the rev limiter was raised to 7,000, I wonder if they changed anything else? Like the speed limiter? It was about 119/120 before tune.

roswelltop Ox-y-GEN, would appreciate hearing updates and outcome.
