Bulletflinger Thanks CotyM, Im in Key West so I'll have to test the no AC around January or February lol... hot as hell down here...

Im Also getting a tapping noise from under the hood when AC on but weirdly enough sounds like the right side of the engine. When I turn off AC it goes away

thx again

CotyM It only does it with the A/C on right?

It's not a problem then, the A/C just sucks allot of power from the engine, the bogging down feeling you are getting is the A/C clutch turning on and off. As it would burn up the A/C if it ran continuously. So it turns on and off at regular interviels. The RPMs jump because the A/C pump disengages and so the rpms rise naturally.

Nothing to worry about man, we just have a very powerful A/C system ;)

You should also notice she accelerates allot faster with the A/C off to ;)

Bulletflinger Yes I can feel the car shudder momentarily then jumps to 1000rpms and then back down to 750 and straightens out.. So when I'm in nuetral whether it be from 10 mph or 5mph only foot on brake when I get to complete stop it does this. Feeling like the clutch is still engaged and sometimes makes my doubt whether or not I'm still in gear.. But definitely not in gear and not on the clutch. Just straight nuetral and on brake and it does this when AC is on. When AC is off it doesn't do this.
Thanks for any help

JPFocus86 Can you actually feel the car shudder like its about to stall? 750 rpm's is about where you should be for an idle speed

2003 zx5 manual engine Help

Engine makes like its going to stall when I come off of clutch in nuetral and only when I come to a complete stop. Rpm jumps up to 1000 rpm then to 750 rpm in a second or 2 and during that time it feel like it wants to stall then straightens itself out.. Any ideas? The feeling is like coming to a stop forgetting your still in gear. But in this case clutch is free shifter is in nuetral and brake is the only thing being applied and its only when it comes to a complete stop when it happens. Only with the AC on.. Under the hood with the AC on I'm getting a tapping noise also. Weird that I hear it on the right side of the engine more then the left it seems, where the AC is . Anyone ?

Thank you, any help
Will be greatly appreciated
