Anyone that got the HID version of this kit: is this brighter than the stock lights in the SE model?
I'm especially concerned about nighttime vision.

|Joeywhat||IMO, no it's not. Attaching it to a fuse wouldn't mean the LED connection is fused anyways. To add a fuse to the LED connection, you'd need to connect an inline fuse between the power connection and the light.|

That's why I opted to use an open connector, as I didn't feel like making it work with a fuse in there as well.
I did replace the spade with a different one, but my hope was that the new one would be a direct fit. It wasn't. So I had to cut it down to fit in the socket. All things considered, you can keep the original spade on there and cut it down to fit. I cut it at a slight taper so it didn't need to be the perfect size to fit in there. The taper means I can shove it in and it'll get tighter the further you press it.
Either way will work, but cutting down the spade so it fits and putting it into an open socket is likely the easiest. There's a number of open spots that provide 12 volts, only when the ignition is on.
