jaguilar20 I've been running with my lid off and k&n drop in w/ st exhaust for about 15k miles and have noticed no negative side effects from it.. I love the sound of it

removing airbox top

I was able to convince my wife to let me get snow tires for my steelies and the oem 16" sport wheels off a guy in California lol.

On topic edit.

Leave the airbox lid on until you get a real cold air intake unless you just like the noise :)

RonMaiden My wife was fine with the stock 16" sport wheels but I was able to convince her to let me upgrade to 17"s since I promised her I would sell the stockers to make up the cost and with those wheels being new on the market i got $300 for the tires and $520 for the wheels so less than $400 for better wheels and tires. She ended up really liking them.

FFhb13 My wife has a don't ask, don't tell policy...she used to ask whats this? Whats that? Now she just doesn't want to know, she knows it's going to make the back account lighter and the car noisier.
