badazz2010focus I'm actually thinking about getting a jotto desk, hey mike do you remember the guy who mounted a tab on his desk in the 2g forums? Erm dash

mikebontoft so just keep an old laptop for tuning and get yourself a tablet.

badazz2010focus ha if I could afford it LOL I'll be happy with the 3000.

iminhell Then do Apple and TSX. IIRC that's out now ... ?

badazz2010focus like what type of tablet.........I don't want to be lugging my laptop around with me hence the reason for the tablet LOL!

Bogey But yeah sry, windows based tablets use a more condensed windows so the tablets limited hardware and ram can run the OS. Look for a tablet with a laptop CPU running windows and it should be the full version :-)

Bogey If your talking about the surface RT, it is not running the full version of windows, it's running windows 8 Rt. Only tablet I know that is running full version of 8 is the RT Pro... Which is a good 1k to buy. Or maybe the vivotab

badazz2010focus I told them it was an android o/s then I asked them if I could use a windows based tablet, he said that he's not sure if a windows based tablet was running a full version of 7 or if there's any difference between a version on a laptop or a tablet.

iminhell They don't know because either you talked with the wrong person or you didn't supply enough info (though they could have asked more questions, as in 'what OS is on the tablet?')

IIRC, Guys have used tablets to log with LL GenII. I'm not sure about Advantage or anything else though.

PM Bvillit and see what he says.
