4mikebruns I had to have 2 separate wire harnesses replaced that are for my TCM due to the harnesses having temporary power losses. I was getting service transmission lights and odd shifting with the tune and it also happened once again after i flashed back to stock before having it repaired. If i reflash my 93 oct tune again should I be ok?

Jburks Sorry i thought Kaykay said he only had the shutter after the tune which led me to believe it was related to the tune and not a mechanical issue. my bad.

roswelltop I used the Injected tune on my '13 SE 5spd, and got one for my '14 Ti DCT. Have had no problems with either one.

As a test, I recently hooked up the tuner and took the car back to "stock", and posted about it on here. My reaction was that in stock mode, that this car couldn't get out of its own way.

I quickly took it back to the "93 tune", which is the aggressive set up.

Love it.

Tuning the DCT is not the same as physically making a defective DCT a good one (if it was defective or misbehaving). If you have issues with the way it shifts stock, tuning the car won't help. Get the car to the Ford dealer, get the issues fixed first, then tune to your heart's content.

A tune won't repair a leaking rear main seal or DCT input shaft seal. If the clutch is slipping due to physical contamination a tune can't repair this.

Injected offers a tune for the engine and DCT, but no tuner can correct mechanical faults via software.

KK_SilverDevil_712 My bad james. My seller contacted me, I'll deal with it from there.

The TCM has an update from Ford and as explained earlier flash your car to stock have the update done at Ford. Once back put the tuner into diagnostic mode and re-read your codes. Send new codes to Aric and updated file will be sent almost immediately, as was my personal experience.
The tune in no way shape or form causes any shuddering in the car the transmission itself has this symptom and short of having the update or even mechanical fixes done at Ford a re-flash diminishes it.

Take your car to Ford and have the transmission warranty work assessed. We all got an extended warranty. Once the car is back and you read the codes you'll have the updated file sent to you. Also contact your reseller for verification of this information.

No it's not garbage
Thanks for the quick response James

It's just plugging in the device and running the same tuning file as before.

This tune garbage?
