|JayDeZ||I'm 32 now. I had a 2010 as a rental back when I was 30 after my wife rear-ended someone with our Fusion. I actually liked the Impala I had. It was probably the most comfortable car I had ever driven and got pretty decent gas mileage on the highway to and from work.|

Alot of GM cars dont handle for shit. Ive owned several (a cutlass Supreme and a Grand Am) and in the city they kinda suck, but the free way is what they were built for I feel like. There comfy and get good gas mileage on the interstates.
There just pretty bland to look at. Not the most fun to drive either but they work out for someone that wants a decent car to get to and from.
Plus parts can be found just about anywhere.

|F35-JSF||I've driven the v8 SS Impala. Not my favorite. I liked the more aggressive smaller pontiac grand prix GXP more.|

|AllenR||GM has reliability issues. I'd stick with Ford. I didn't buy the Focus for styling. I don't even like it. I bought it for quality, and it has far exceeded my expectations.|

We've had an 02 and an 08.
Meh. Don't bother.

|RonMaiden||Some cars I just can't let go of them having an old person's car stigma and the Impala is one of them along with most products from Buick save for the GN.|

|replica81||I had a 2012 Impala as a loaner. I wanted to hate it, but it was a solid car. Handling and so on were not very good, but that isn't really the point. It was a sweet freeway cruiser and the motor was pretty nice. I bet they're a steal used.|
