With the deal I got, I lost about $300 to depreciation at 36K. That's nothing IMHO for a much nicer car.
Some things I miss from the Ti:
Rain Sensing wipers. They were a godsend where I live because we get more light rains and mists than downpours.
The auto-dimming mirror. Fixed that by installing a Gentex mirror.
The buttons that were on the right side of the steering wheel. There were two favorites buttons and a button to activate Sync. They are non-existent on the ST and it looks weird without them.
My integrated DRL's. They were a nice touch to the front of the Ti.
Things I don't miss:
Clunky DCT. The manual is crisp and with the Cobb shift adapter it shifts very nicely.
My custom floormats that I had ordered. The OEM's are cheap and have no face-weight at all.
Higher payment. I saved $30/month on the new deal.
Mods so far:
Cobb shift adapter
Sickspeed Carbon fiber stubby antenna
Custom paint job on the stack trim pieces - Metallic black with gold metal flake
First oil change with Pennzoil full synthetic at 1200 miles. I have seen an increase of .2 MPG since changing the stock oil for the Pennzoil
Metallic black license plate bracket
Red Caliper covers - I was hoping for less brake dust on the rims but that didn't help much. It looks nice though.
Next mods: Premium ceramic brakes pads for less dust (the OEMs are fantastic, but they color the rims black after about 50 miles.)
Cobb tuner with custom tunes. I just have to unlock that extra torque at the low end. HP is fine, but the torque could use a nice boost.

|mike884||Love an ST, but wouldn't mind the normal car. I've had a few acquaintances do the same swap. Stinks that you have to take that hit to get out of the DCT.|

Gentex Auto-dimmer installed! Cost me about $90 on Ebay. Got the one with HomeLink, no compass, no temp. Installed that and my Bell radar detector in about an hour. Piece of cake.
FYI to everyone... our mirror mount is waaay down the windshield, so the standard Gentex wire molding is not long enough. You have to order the extra long molding to cover the wires from the mirror mount to the headliner.

Easy fix for that. We have a touchless car wash about 1/4 mi from my house that I got in on from the day they opened. $20/month unlimited washes. I get the full ride $15 wash everytime, so if I only wash it once a week I'm still waaaay ahead. Believe it or not, the white Ti was more of a PIA to keep clean than the black. My wife's Edge gets a wash once a week and it looks brand new.

Dude... I've only had the car two days, were you expecting something so quick? lol. I have made one free mod though, I chopped off the whip part of the antenna wihin about an hur of getting it home. I hate that thng, but i have a carbon fiber stubby on the way.
Let's see, my list is as follows:
Cobb shift plate
Gentex auto dimming mirror with Homelink (have that in-hand already)
Gloss black metallic vinyl on the stack parts and pieces
ST Wheel Center caps
Add LED's to the center console compartment
Possibly the LED brow light DRL mod
Roush Cold Air Kit
Plush carpeted floor mats
That'll be all in the first few months. Maybe some suspension mods in a few thousand.

What is important is how you like it a year or two later.
BTW, was there anything in particular to look for in your photos (like some interior or exterior mod)?

|cbdallas||I always drool when I see a set of ST3 seats. I hate the way they feel, but they're SO beautiful. Congrats! I don't imagine we'll be seeing much of you on here anymore, as you'll always be busy washing that car! A black car would be a full time job for me.|

|underbird10||Just this week traded my '12 Ti for a '14 ST fully loaded. I got 15.5K on the trade at 37.5K miles. I also got $3250 in rebates, and about 3K off MSRP on the ST. Out the door financed 19.5K with the equity I had in the '12 as my down payment. I dropped my monthly payments by $35 and got a major upgrade. I am happy.|

The original Fascia was damaged, then after the insurance repair the car was damaged again on the way to go help my Uncle move my dying Grandfather out of his apartment because the manager was a psychotic individual who wanted him out before his lease expired because she had already rented the apartment to someone else.
So I decided that while I loved the color of the car I wanted to see the ST front Fascia painted in Frosted Glass.
Initially I never intended to get rid of the SEL, at least not for 5-10+ years down the road, but the itch to get an ST grew too great.
I had bought a used ST exhaust for under $200 and modified it to fit the n/a engine. It helped to mellow out the harsh induction note from the Steeda Intake.
I was going to get the rear valence and side skirts for an ST to build a Frosted Glass ST tribute, but not clone.
I had driven the ST numerous times prior to buying mine and while it was impressive I never found the SEL lacking until I started to add up what it would take to make the car into what I wanted it to be.
I would still love to someday repaint my ST or wrap it in Frosted Glass as it was a sharp color. Silver is nice, but it's just not the same.
The exhaust fit just fine without modifying the rear valence, but for it to look proper it would have been changed, but I changed my mind and bought an ST after test driving it one last time.
