|asting||Has anyone done this on a mk3 yet? I was all set and ready to do it, but then I got to looking at the stock wire. It's some beefy stuff. Is there any benefit to doing so? I've done it on my cars in the past, I just doubt it would do much on this vehicle.|

also the fuse should be closer to the power source, like when you run the power wire from the bat to the amp the fuse is with in a few short inches from the batt (power source). the fuse for the alt power wire should most likely be done the same way if you choose to do so.

Use fuses unless you want your car to possibly catch fire.
Well I use circuit breakers.

Some Big Three installs have a fuse in-between the alternator positive and the battery positive. Is that necessary? Under what conditions would it be necessary?
Also, anybody have pictures of where the alternator positive is on the Focus 2012? How hard is it to reach?
Any pictures in general of where the wire is run so as to avoid radiator/engine? Thanks.
