1turbofocus At this time SCT has not released any self adjustable features for the MK3 like for the previous years of Foci

Maybe some one from SCT will log in and add to this

joshuamnr So if I wanted to bring the focus to a Dyno to get tuned would the person there be able to use an off the shelf map as a base to build a custom tune from? There must be software somewhere so I can play with those values.

I know when i set up my launch control it took a lot of back and forth. Setting a fuel cut and speed limiter. come back adjust go out again. If this is something you're willing to do with each person who wants LC then sure. I just figure it less load on you if we're able to set up our LC our selves. Since it really is car by car and very much based on feel.

1turbofocus No I would have to set them for you , thats why I am the tuner LOL

joshuamnr It wont necessarily get you off the line any faster than a good old fashion launch. However it takes the guess work out when your launching over and over again at autocross. Plus its kinda cool.

I guess the crappy part if we have to get somebody else to set the values in the LC is that everybody's LC needs to be different based on power/tires/road surface. Is there a software with SCT that I can play with these values my self and reload the tune. That is how I do it with the accessport for my ST.

I would be interested in something like that as well if it actually helped get off the line faster.

How would that even work? You would just tune a rev limiter to 3k (or w/e amount customer wants) so they can keep the foot on the floor when launching?

joshuamnr Does SCT have any ability to add launch control to the 2.0NA focus. My brother likes my Launch control set up on my ST through Cobb. He wants something similar for his car.

I am pretty late on this I see.

177whp is more to the wheels than what I originally made on my first runs with Intake Headers and Exhaust on a DCT. I am impressed.
