|DayGlow||Yeah I read the reviews that they are less than optimal in a projector housing, I'm wondering if our reflector style housing spreads the light out better.|

Couldn't find anything on YouTube. But I did find some information, pictures, review etc on a FT86 forum.

|jcbbas||Just checked the tracking number, and these are schedule for delivery tomorrow. Looks like rain headed my way tomorrow and don't really have a garage space to install so hopefully it holds off long enough to test them out. Will try and get pictures of before and after as well.|

|bradshsi||Your explanantion makes sense. Good luck with the experiment and let us know how you get on. I have a friend with a 2012 Focus and he was interested in trying LED headlights at some point.|

|jcbbas||Just received my shipping notification. Hopefully have them by friday for the weekend to try out. After looking through multiple forums on these, I found another website that sells them as well. http://www.philipshidkits.com/h8-rsi...onversion-kit/ Also another forum http://www.hidplanet.com/forums/show...ight-FoglLight They talk about the heat dissipation not being enough. So I'm going to not get my hopes up too much. Looks like if they wont work for headlights, I have an expensive LED fog light setup.|

Ok I can maybe understand a bulb out error, although I'd be surprised if something pulling 22 watts would cause it. It would be very easy to confirm that by building a pretend LED bulb with a 25 watt 7 ohm resistor.
The flickering makes no sense. What would cause the bulb to flicker ?
