sonicZ If I can give my advice. I would suggest that you contact someone that has the fully built ZX3 that you like and only spend money on components that get's upgraded once. For instance: Don't do a cold air kit now if you plan to do forced induction later. You will save money if you spend money now on suspension or the exhaust that will compliment the boost kit you add later. Same advice that I just gave to my son on his ZX3.

MrBrent So, apparently I have the cash a lot sooner than expected -- any advice on the parts I am wanting to get?

MrBrent Alright, so I am about 3-4 weeks away from being able to dump a good amount of money into my ZX3 (probably $500-$600), and I am wanting to get a header, cold air intake and full 2.5" exhaust.

With my budget in mind, what is the best quality parts I can get that I won't be replacing every 6 months to a year?

I've done some research on some eBay parts that I found, but am finding that the majority of people that actually apply and use these are stating that they fail rather quickly, and I don't want to be flushing a whole wad of cash down the toilet on this stuff.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Somewhere down the line I am wanting to boost the ZX3, but that probably won't be for another year or two.

CotyM AFAIK You'll have to have a ford dealer do it, they're not just going to give millage altering tools out to just anyone ;)

It definitely has the tach -- is there a guide somewhere that shows me how to transfer the mileage over from one cluster to the next?

check this video out of how a dohc engine works its very interesting
I do indeed have a DOHC Zetec. Can someone provide an eBay (or other website) link to the cam(s) that I need?
