amc49 You showed a pic of the wrong intake. Vacuum lines can be made of anything, metal, plastic, rubber. Any hollow tube running to the intake is a suspect vac line.

Now that you know were the vacuum lines begin on your car's intake manifold you can follow them using this routing diagram:

And of course you can always just smoke the lines to find your problem:

CotyM no and no, I think at least one vacuum line is actually metal like the EVAP and EGR... and one rubber line is actually for fuel...

i cant believe im asking this question

ok.....haha i feel so dumb right now. here goes.

im going to check my engine for vacuum leaks.....are all vacuum lines rubber? and are all rubber hoses vacuum lines....except well water lines of course.
