ABS ring isn't on the axle, part of the bearing assy. in the hub (knuckle).
IIRC there was only one axle type for SVT's.

I've been reading threads such as this one about CV Axle Shafts because I recently tried to replace my front passenger side axle but have not had any luck finding the right fitting axle at Oreilly's. I have a few questions...
-> will an axle for a 2002 svt fit my 2003 svt?
-> if the axle i order doesn't include the ABS ring, will it mess with the way my car drives?

I don't necessarily know what the exact number is, but I DO know that the regular focus is a lower spline count that the SVT.
IIRC the regular focus is 26 and SVT is 34
I think you'll be ok as long as you get the one with the higher spline count.

Part # for O'Reily's is: MPV 60-2171 (passenger side).
59.99 +tax after a core charge from the old one.
I put one in place this last Summer after my CV boot got cut.

I know NAPA carries both sides. around 63 or 64.00 each. (3 year warranty or 36k miles) which would only last me 18 months or so. the warranty, not the axles. they could last for years, who knows.
NAPA has good rebuilt stuff but limited warranty on these axels. or go with Advance, autozone, oriellys and get the lifetime warranty. I just don't want to have to redo the job.
